Samsung’s new and improved Bixby will launch alongside its Galaxy S25 phone.
The tech giant confirmed the news as part of its announcement of a January 22nd Unpacked event to reveal the upcoming flagship. The new Bixby debuted in November with the Galaxy W25 and W25 Flip in China, but now, we know when it’s getting its international rollout.
With AI enhancements, the new Bixby is capable of understanding natural language, processing multiple commands simultaneously, accurately gauging context and more.
Notably, Bixby is the only major voice assistant to not yet receive an AI upgrade, with Apple and Google having already done so with their respective digital helpers.
At Unpacked, Samsung is expected to unveil a Galaxy S25 lineup that includes a base Galaxy S25, a Galaxy S25 Plus and a Galaxy S25 Ultra model, as well as, potentially, a Galaxy S25 Slim model.
In other news, Samsung has also revealed a new AI subscription service, although it’s unclear if it will extend beyond South Korea.
