How to Check Multiple Time Zones in the Clock App
You can use the Clock app to easily keep track of multiple time zones on your iPhone. This approach is the simplest and most convenient way to do so.
Open the Clock app and head to the World Clock tab from the bottom menu. Tap the plus (+) button in the top-right corner of the screen. This opens a pop-up where you can search for and select the city for which you want to view the time.
You’ll now see the time in your selected city under the World Clock tab, plus the number of hours that location is behind or ahead of your local time. You can repeat this process for multiple cities and time zones.
The main drawback of this method is that you have to open the Clock app every time you wish to view the time. It works best if you only want to view time zones from different regions occasionally.
How to Add Multiple Time Zones to Your iPhone’s Home Screen
If you frequently need to check time zones across various regions, a convenient option is displaying multiple clocks on your iPhone’s Home Screen. You can do so using the World Clock widget. To add this widget to your Home Screen, follow these steps:
- Long-press an empty space on the Home Screen until the apps start to jiggle.
- Tap the Edit button in the top-left corner. Select Add Widget from the three options that appear.
- Now, scroll down and select Clock.
- Swipe multiple times to get to the World Clock widget. This widget comes in two style options—square and rectangular—and both include four clocks displaying the times for four different cities.
Once you’ve chosen your preferred clock style, you can then add the widget to your home screen:
- Tap Add Widget at the bottom to add it to your Home Screen. You’ll see four random cities in the widget.
- If all your apps are still jiggling, simply tap the widget you just added. Otherwise, long-press the widget you added and tap Edit Widget.
- Tap the city you want to change and select your desired city. Repeat this for all four clocks.
- You may want to move your most-checked cities to the top and push the others to the bottom. You can reorder them by pressing and holding the three horizontal bars next to a city and dragging to a new spot.
You’ve finally configured the World Clock widget with the cities you like! We also recommend trying out some amazing apps that let you create custom widgets for your iPhone for more customization options.
